LIBERTY'S FACILITIES
Cafe-
The Chilkat café. offers a wide selection of cold and hot sandwhiches. Cold and hot drinks aswell as sweet treats and ice creams.
​
Play Area-
After exploring our centre you can let the little ones explore our play area.
Hopefully our sandpit, balance trails, and fort will keep your kids entertained long enough for you you enjoy a nice refreshing drink from the Chilkat café.
​
Gift shop-
Enter and exit through our gift shop, where you will find a treasure trove of souvenirs and small items to help remember your visit with us, as well as books offering more information on some of the species you will have seen at the centre. This is also where you can find our honey for sale, made on site by our colonies of bees.
​


Picnic areas-
Liberty's has plenty of picnic tables dotted around the centre. You are more than welcome to bring your own picnic and enjoy while watching some of our magnificent birds.

Disabled access and facilities-
Liberty's aims to make its centre enjoyable and accessible for all abilities.
We have an accessible toilet and the centre is also wheelchair and pushchair friendly. If you have any specific requirements or questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch ahead of your visit.
​

Dog Kennels-
Due to distress to our birds, we regret that unfortunately no dogs are allowed within the centre. However we do offer onsite kennels. Please speak to member of staff at the front desk if you wish gain access to our kennels for your dog/s.

Car park-
The Centre offers a large graveled free car park to all its visitors.
​
Nearby pubs-
We are very fortunate to have a number of excellent pubs nearby. After you have spent your day with us and are looking for somewhere to enjoy an evening meal or simply want a refreshing beverage to end your lovely day, there is plenty of choice. Check out The Elm Tree at the end of Crow Lane as you leave.

Car park: The Centre’s car park has a gravel surface

Drop-off point: A wheelchair-friendly drop-off point is available at the front entrance if needed.

Pathways: All main pathways are wheelchair-accessible and include ramps to allow access to all public areas.

Picnic area & toilets: An accessible picnic area is located next to the café. A dedicated accessible (disabled) toilet is also available.

Play area: The play area and sandpit have a woodchip surface, which may be difficult for wheelchairs and mobility aids.

Flying demonstrations: Birds of prey flying demonstrations take place on a grass field. The area is accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs, though the ground may be uneven or soft in wet weather.
