Liberty’s falconry experience flying days

Falconry is one of the oldest sports in the world, practiced for the last 4,000 years. This is your chance to be a falconer for the day and experience the thrills of falconry for yourself.

Flying experiences are available all year round and are open to anyone age 10 years and over. During June, July and August places may be limited.

Your day will start at 9.30am and finish at 11.30am.

During this time you will get an insight into the everyday care and management of birds of prey, as well as experiencing the early stages of handling, manning and training the birds.

You will be given the opportunity to fly various hawks, owls and vultures, subject to availability.

You will not need to bring any special equipment as we can supply you with everything that you will need for your day, although we do suggest that you wear footwear appropriate to walking outdoors in an open field. We also suggest that you bring a camera to record your day with us.

Costs:
 

£95pp (minimum age 10 years)
 

For ages 10 to 17 years an adult must accompany, which is included in the cost.
 

For safety reasons only one spectator (over the age of 16) is permitted at an extra cost of £20.

Please make us aware before booking of any physical or learning difficulties, especially if the participant is unable to stand unaided.
