Falconry packages for schools

Package 1

A flying demonstration suitable for groups of any size, from a single class to the entire school. This demonstration would take place suitably on a large flying field.

We offer a 45-minute interactive flying display featuring a variety of birds of prey, including eagles, falcons, hawks, and kites. During the demonstration, students will learn about the birds, their natural behaviours, and the important role they play in the ecosystem, while watching them fly up close.

The birds chosen for the demonstration shall be determined on time of demonstration and location

The birds chosen for the demonstration will be determined by the time of the demonstration and the location, ensuring the most suitable birds are flown for the conditions.

Package 2 – Classroom-Based Talk or School Hall (Birds Only)

We can offer bird of prey talks suitable for groups of any size, from a single class to the entire school. These sessions can take place in a classroom setting, or for larger groups, in a school hall or similar indoor space.

During the session, students will have the opportunity to see a selection of birds of prey up close while learning about their behaviour, habitats, and the important roles they play in the natural world. Students are encouraged to ask questions throughout the session, making the experience engaging and interactive.

Talks can also be tailored to link with curriculum topics where appropriate.

The birds selected for the session will be chosen based on suitability for the environment, and will typically include a mixture of owls, hawks, and falcons.

Package 3 – Classroom-Based Talk (Birds and Mini-beasts)

We offer a one hour classroom based session that includes a mixture of birds of prey and mini-beasts.

During this session, students will receive an engaging educational talk about the animals while also having the opportunity to handle and interact with the minibeasts under supervision. This hands on experience helps students learn more about different species, their habitats, and their roles in the natural world.

The session can accommodate a maximum of 35 students to ensure everyone has the opportunity to take part.
